Middle Eastern Genealogy of Tulips


   Tulip flower are actually come from Persia and were introduced to the Netherlands in the seventeenth century. Around 150 types of tulip species flourish in the forest, specifically in cold areas such as range of mountains. After the tulip was hybrid (the offspring of two plants of different species or varieties), a massive variety of petal forms and colors were produced. 


  The tulips name originates from the headdress (an ornamental covering or band for the head, especially one worn on ceremonial occasions) worn by many people in the Middle Eastern which is known as the "Turban" or Taliban In Latin word translated into word of "Tulipa".

   Tulip "mania" dominated in the Netherlands within the years of 1636 to 1637. Tulips were symbolic of people's status, prosperity and were exchanged like money. A bed of tulip flower could purchase a smaller sized house. Some highly valued tulip flowers were much more worthwhile plus a single tulip bulb could possibly be traded for a big house and each of the land, home furniture and also other essential accessories.





    One of the most highly valued tulip flower had stripes or lines in their tulip pigmentation.   • Early season of flowering tulips : Tulip flowers will start blooming in March and early on April. Examples of early season of flowering tulips are including Red Emperor (Fosteriana), Apricot Beauty (Single Early), Greigii Tulips (Double Early) and etc.
